We’re privileged to welcome our first “Hine” paddler to Team Strongarm. At 14 years old, Koha-Alofa Vitolio, is certainly a young woman on the rise. Having successfully competed in the Canada World Sprints in 2012, winning three gold medals with the Tiare Maori J16 Womens Team, and with Regional and National Junior Titles hanging on the wall, Koha has certainly achieved a lot at such a young age.
In 2013, Koha competed at Te Aito in Tahiti, with the honour of being in the Top 10 Te Aito Tahiti Cadets (6th Member) 2013.
Koha-Alofa is well supported by her whanau and friends from Cook Island Outriggers Club in Auckland, New Zealand.
She now has her sights set on moving to the next level, as the recent winner of the Aotearoa Aito J19’s, she will be heading back to Tahiti in July 2014 to compete in Te Aito Cadet and Open Womens Division.
Welcome again Koha, we’re absolutely stoked to have you in the Team!
